A nice little horror novel with enough unique elements that differentiate it from typical zombie lore and allows this book to rise above many lackluster books in the same genre. The EMP-origin-of-zombies angle was pretty cool, as was the machine-gun-rapid pulse of intro sequences that started out the fast pacing of the book. I really LOVED this book. I was a little worried at first, but Bick really created rich, interesting characters. I will be the first one in line to purchase the next book. This is one of those books you don't forget!
