I went into DAUGHTER OF SMOKE AND BONE expecting not to like it. That awful cover and plus it's an angel book. I have read many angel books, many I tell you and almost all of them I did not like. I picked this book up after hearing SO. MUCH. ABOUT. IT. It seemed like everybody was talking about it...so I read it.
And, yeah - it's pretty darn good.

Loved, loved this book. World building was lyrical, love story was wonderful, characters were well rounded.
