It has taken me months to force myself through the second part, which was at first predictable and boring. I loved Karou, the humor and depth of characters in the first part of the book. I am hoping that the second book returns to the vivid, complex and interesting imagery and characters of Karou’s world in Prague.

I really enjoyed this novel, set in Prague and Elsewhere, and Karou is a great character. The ending has me slightly worried, I do love me HEAs, but I'm hopeful that the rest of the series will see both peace, both personal and and between the Chimera and Seraphim.

While the overall theme felt somewhat familliar many elements of the world building were original and the character development was great. I saw the revelation coming pretty early, but getting there was still enjoyable. I'll definitely
