Finally. I finished A Hunger Like No Other. Paranormal Romance books have always put me off slightly. Don't get me wrong I love romance and devour any romance in Urban Fantasy. However sometimes they are so sickly sweet, I am left with an after taste.

After a long time I gave myself to a pure paranormal romance and have to say I loved it. It made me think why had I not started to read these books before. It could be down to J.R Ward's Dark Lover( please dont hit me).I had read it but could not un ...more

It was a bit confusing at first keeping all the species straight. I had to re-read a few pages trying to be sure who they were talking about. The glossary at the end of the book would have been better placed at the front.

Perhaps since this is a second book they expected you to have read the first one and didn't think things might not make sense.

Maybe I'm a cover snob, but when I first saw this book I was so put off by the cheesy cover that I avoided it. Avoided it so long, in fact, that it stopped being available for my Kindle region. So I was hugely glad when it was made available again earlier this month, and with a nice new cover that looked less like a Mills and Boon.

I really enjoyed The Warlord Wants Forever and am glad I read it first, because all the various characters here would have made it a bit hard to follow otherwise. Stil ...more
