I enjoyed this, it has all the usual traits I've came to expect from Shelly's books. The humour was there, the fighting, the bitching, the characters that you think are high, the broody ones...

Yeah... I'm getting bored? a little. Sorry. It's the same formula as all the rest and yes I like it and I'll still be buying it but can we have something new in the next one? A little twist I don't see coming? A different type of personality?

3.5 Crush is a polar bear shifter, detective on the police force, and huge hockey fan. Cella is an enforcer for a private "security" agency, and a hockey player on his favorite team. Cella gets him involved with the team, and they join forces to try to take down a human who is hunting shifters like big game. And it gets personal, for Crush.

The book was humorous, but not as LOL funny as some of Laurenston's other books. I liked Crush, but Cella wasn't one of my favorite Laurenston heroines. All i ...more

Another great one from Laurenston :). Very funny, made me actually laugh out loud a few tiimes. I loved Cella, she's definitely one of my favorite characters now. Hilarious and a badass :). Loved Crush too but Cella made the book for me. Also loved seeing Bo, and that he hasn't changed much since bein with Blayne. His bluntness makes me laugh every time. And now he has a frrrrrieeend :) haha. ...more

I absolutely love the bears. Love them.

Of course, each time I flip views I'm pissed they're not the last couple and then end up loving them... Anyways, glad I decided to cleanse the KU palette with a reread session of these. Those KU books... They can either be (in need of editing) bangers or just absolute crap but none of it stands up to something like this series. ...more
