This is the fourth book in the Downside Ghosts series and I have to say I have ben areally big fan since I read the first one.
Chess is a Debunker for the Church, this means she investigates hauntings an if necessary gets rid of te ghosts. I don't know why it took me so long to get moving on this book. I was SOOOOO excited to get my hands on it (finally) b/c I just flew through the first three in the series. I love Terrible and Chess and I love the story, and the brilliant way in which it is written. I think that I couldn't get a move on reading this one because I was hating Chess's decisions. I just can't get enough of this series!
Chess is so insecure about her relationship with Terrible, and at times it seems like she's wrecking it on purpose.
There are some choices that she makes that makes me wish I could slap her upside her head. I feel sorry for Chess and get so pissed at her at the same time.
The flashbacks that she has from her past help me to understand why she is the way she is and why she feels not worthy of Terrible.
With how messed up Chess is emotionally she really is one ...more

AAhhhhh uuuurrrggggghhh. When the hell is she going to stay the hell out of trouble. It doesn't seem that her addiction isn't as prominent as it was in the second book. I do have to say that is a fantastic thing for the plot itself. Much better Ms. Kane
