Quick Take: Loved it! My fave so far. The two leads were a great and compelling match. I'd recommend having read book two before jumping into the series with this book.
I'm glad to note that thus far, I've enjoyed each Midnight Breed book more than the last. Granted, I've only finished three installments now, but the direction of the trend is a very promising one. A really average read - the characters in this series are really interchangeable. They all seem alike with no distinguishing characteristics besides their accents.
I don't know how or why these two fell in love. They seem distant during the whole book and at some point they hopped in bed and started to proclaim their ever ending love. Midnight Awakening (The Midnight Breed, Book 3) OMG!The Crypt was EMPTY!The series gets better with each book!To heck with the comparisons to BDB, this is a completely different story.Yes, there are similarities to the BDB with the band of warriors, but really, BDB as the only one out there is absurd.
