The Midnight Breed series is a sexy, fun read. This installment was one of my favorites so far. It was also the first one I listened to vs. read.
I always liked Rio and was happy to see him find someone who helped him love again after his betrayal by Eva, his breedmate (Kiss of Midnight). Dylan is a reporter who, while on holiday, stumbles into Rio's cave. When she threatens to expose the vampires, he finds himself having to do some quick clean-up. Well we're following Rio's story in this installment. If you recall he sealed himself in an ancient tomb at the end of the last book, and has stayed there for some time. Then comes along special new leading lady, Dylan. From there the plot advances into a turn that actually made this series more interesting. My suggestion though is not to start the series until you've found all of the books.
