Really enjoyed the story but even after reading it a second time i still don't like Claire. Her logic just doesn't add up to someone who claims to love a person so fiercely. The fact that it took her so long to realize for sure who was the real villain just made me want to slap her a bit.

The story of Reichen and Claire is this book is both heart breaking and passionate. The true pain and torment to leave someone you love behind, simply for her safety.
And Claire, pining over Riechenfor over 30 years, never knowing why? But he was never far from her thoughts, even though mated to another, she thought of him often...

I loved this series. If you are looking for books along the lines of J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood, then this is it. There are a few small similarities, but are enough differences that makes it stand on it's own. I would definitely recommend reading. ...more

This was one of my favorites by Lara Adrian. I liked the whole book. I found having a pyro vampire very interesting and different. I would have liked having a bit more detail about Andreas and Roth's hatred of each other, and perhaps another personal battle between them, but overall I was very satisfied with how this book ended. ...more
