Another great Midnight Breed novel and a quick and entertaining read. Reichen has been an interesting character since he was first introduced - was it back in Tegan and Elise's book? After the devestating conclusion to Veil of Midnight, we knew that Reichen was going to be looking for vengeance. His Breed power of pyrokinesis is an interesting one, which leads to some pretty devestating conclusions. Claire was a great breedmate for him. The story of Reichen and Claire is this book is both heart breaking and passionate. The true pain and torment to leave someone you love behind, simply for her safety.
And Claire, pining over Riechenfor over 30 years, never knowing why? But he was never far from her thoughts, even though mated to another, she thought of him often...
