3.5 stars Enjoyable entry into the Midnight Breed series. Hunter is the first Gen 1 Breed male created from Dragos' evil experiments. Since his escape he's been working for the Order and in this book he is tasked with returning Corinne Bishop to her family after years of captivity and torture. I loved Hunter and Corinne's story. When they were together and interacting I really enjoyed the book. However, there were times when it seemed like too many plotlines where playing out. They're certainly all related and part of the larger story but I really didn't need that much Chase taking over Hunter's book since Chase will get his own book soon. 3.5 Stars Hunter is most likely my new fav member of the Order.

In my opinion probably the best of the bunch and now I'm invested in these characters because of this book. I definitely need the next book, pronto. I need to know what happens next and if it's going to be a good ending to an okay series for me.

I've been let down a lot by quite a few other series' and I'm hoping that this one doesn't do that to me as well.
