Good book. But I still get annoyed that Rachel gets no respect from law enforcement. She saves their butt all the time but is constantly being left behind. I found the quick exit of Glen to be odd. I thought he was going to become a bigger part of Ivys life...

I don't know if it is fair that I review this series. I really think it is so great, I don't know if I can be fair. I will say that there is NO slowing of how great this series is for me. Harrison keeps the suspense, high actions and thrill going in this installment. As always there is character growth, which is one of the reason I think this series is so great. Nothing stagnate in this series... Rachel gathers no moss. I highly recommend this series for any urban fantasy fan, or those who just ...more

I had more difficulty starting this one, even though the action starts right away. However, about 70 pages in or so it got better. In this one Rachel is more accepting of who she is now. Ivy and Jenks are moving on with their lives; I liked the dynamics of Ivy/Glenn and Jenks/Belle. (view spoiler) ...more

I have been waiting a year for this, and I always hate to see it end. Another fun read. The story has been able to keep my attention over 10 books and 7-8 years now (when I read the first Hollows book as an ARC). My only gripe about Harrison's writing is that she will pick a word or phrase and use it repeatedly in a book; this time, it was "lighter darkness." It came up quite a few times. Otherwise, I still love all the characters, and look forward for #11 next year! ...more
