I love this series, absolutely love it!

Rachel, poor Rachel. The girl just never seems to catch a break. There's always someone after her and they are always a bigger and better baddy than the time before. It does make you wonder how long her luck can last - if you can call it that!

Nice additions in this book, I like the direction it's going in now. Book 10 and I'm finding myself becoming attracted to Trent. If you'd told me that early on I would have laughed at you! I like the way his relations ...more

Good book. But I still get annoyed that Rachel gets no respect from law enforcement. She saves their butt all the time but is constantly being left behind. I found the quick exit of Glen to be odd. I thought he was going to become a bigger part of Ivys life...

I have been waiting a year for this, and I always hate to see it end. Another fun read. The story has been able to keep my attention over 10 books and 7-8 years now (when I read the first Hollows book as an ARC). My only gripe about Harrison's writing is that she will pick a word or phrase and use it repeatedly in a book; this time, it was "lighter darkness." It came up quite a few times. Otherwise, I still love all the characters, and look forward for #11 next year! ...more

I really enjoyed the evoltion of Trent and Rachel's relationship. From and about the third or fourth book I wanted them to get together. Rachel's growing up, understanding that if she stops and thinks about things (mostly) before barreling in both guns blazing. I love how Trent always seemed to back her up. Really liked Wayde and their interaction but the perfect one for Rachel is Trent. I really enjoy it. Kim Harrison hasn't lost her mojo for this series. ...more

Not as great as the last installment, pale demon, but still a great addition to the series as always. I'm glad to see Rachel progressing, even as she still frustrates me sometimes :). Can't wait for the next one, hopefully it will bring some more progression to the storyline... And for all of the characters. Still many things left undone, which means more great books to come! ...more
