So glad I came across this author and series. It was funny, and a nice change of pace with our heroine, Verity Price, wanting to be a professional ballroom dancer, even though she grew up in a family, described as cryptozoologists ie they look after all the weird creatures that the humans don't know about.
Even her way of getting around NYC & Manhattan was different - free running, luckily I knew what that was, having seen some beautiful free running on TV and youtube a couple of years ago.

This introduction to this series has been a win for MacGuire. The aslin mice are the funniest characters I've came across in years.

I think I enjoyed this one a bit more this time around, now that I have 6 more years of urban fantasy under my belt.
