WOW what a journey. I ABSOLUTELY Loved this book!!!
Penryn and Raffe, their banter is so funny and authentic.
I loved Penryn, I was rooting right alongside with her. I loved that Susan Ee was not scared to be graphic in this book as it made it more enjoyable and relate able somehow.
I cannot wait to start book 2.....
Do yourself a favor and read this one, you will not be disappointed.

I re-read this book and will re-read World After so that I can dive right into End of Days. I enjoyed this book every bit - if not more - than the firs time I was introduced. There is a ton of action in this story of angels versus humans - as well as good angels versus fallen/bad angels. I also enjoyed the interaction between Penryn and Raffe as it felt very real with nothing contrived, forced or instant. Penryn's family & life added even more interest to the story..

All right this book was closer to a 4 ½ star rating than a 5 star rating.
This was extremely action-packed and Penryn was the epitome of a kick-ass heroine. She knew just about every form of self-defense possible and wasn't afraid to use it. She is definitely a person I would like to be friends with or be like. Her love for her sister and her determination were far and above what a sister could possibly be.

Riveting story. I was drawn in from the start. The ending lost it a star though. The story wasn't finished and was left hanging like the author just got tired of writing. I hate stories that don't have all the parts: beginning, middle, end.
