I have a big big problem with this book, because everybody I know who's read it, loved it, and I wonder, what did I miss??
Imagine Harry Potter, but told in the first person and without Ron and Hermione to blunt the edges of his most annoying behaviours, or a sense of humour.
Kvothe is the best. At everything. Always. Shit happens to him, he goes trough hard times, but those are the circumstances and people that hate him because he's so awesome and they are jealous, never his own fault.

One of the best fantasy books I have read in ages. Will be reading the next asap. Great characters and a compelling plot. A book to keep you up till the early hours.
