The story of the Oracle and the Djinn that may seem an unlikely couple but are actually very well suited.
Grace is young, broke and in over her head, trying to take care of her young niece and nephew while getting used to the power of the Oracle that she's inherited with her sister's death.
Khalil has a soft spot for children, and when he meets Grace's wards at a time of trouble, he appoints himself their guardian and becomes a part of their lives, not without some resistance from Grace.

Probably one of my favorites of the series!! You don't get many Djinn stories!!

Thea Harrison is amazing. I'm not a PNR fan and still couldn't put this book down. I was literally reading in the garage in my car because I didn't want to stop reading in order to drive home.

I realllllllly liked this one. And I hope we get more - I want to know what happens with Grace and Khalil! What they ultimately decide!
I would've eenjoyed this more if it hadn't been for the heroine's woe is me attitude.
