You know, this series could really be something. The concept is cool. It's just that the writing is mediocre at best. Jenna black is a teller. Not a show-er.
In the two books that I have read, there has been no character growth, and the heroine is a nasty bitch. I was not going to read this book, but as I tend to do if there is a character that I keep thinking about I'll usually read another book eventually. With The Devil You Know the relationship which is not my thing is the Male/Male relationship. Thankfully, this time it was toned down and there was no club scenes of a S&M nature involved. This one may get a 4 star rating, but I'm still not sure if I'll read the rest of the books. I like the main female character and the main demon character intrigu
