Review provided by Black Lagoon Reviews:

The Vampire Narcise is the third installment in the Regency Draculia series by Colleen Gleason, a series that has had some very notable up and downs for me. While this left me hesitant to actually read this novel, I felt that after coming so far with the characters and the author I needed to see how this final chapter ended. This is the third book in Gleason’s Regency Vampire series, but it differs dramatically from the first two. This one is much darker, more violent and emotionally wrenching than the first two. For someone like me, lover of dark UF, this was a good thing . This book can be read as a stand alone.

Narcise was my favorite heroine of the Draculia trilogy, but this was my least favorite book. The narrative was very choppy, because the story starts before the other books in the series, presents some parralell events and then goes beyond those books. This just didn't work for me. The main reason is that, at its heart this was a love triangle. In Chas Woodmore and Giordan Cale, Narcise had two compelling suitors. The more interesting and complex relationship might actually be that of Narcise, t ...more

The best book of the trilogy. I liked it mainly because it wasn't a re-retelling of previous events (there is a part about 1/3 trough the book about a chapter long that I already knew what happened). You get Narcise's story of her captivity, rescue, and events after. The ending was sweet once I got around (view spoiler) ...more
