I almost rated this one 4 stars, however, I decided that the end made it deserve 5.
This book is almost solely focused on Rose and Dimitri. Lissa and the other characters do make an appearance, but Lissa's life drama is on the back burner for this installment.
I think it was about time Rose focused on herself a little.
There were some twists and turns in the plot that I didn't really expect. Occasionally I figured them out before the story line got there, but not always.

This series is just getting better, and better. That's nice, as some series start to...well...cool down. Richelle makes it interesting by taking Rose and putting her outside of the school and out on her own. To kill the one she loves.

Craziness!!! Sooo good!!! It was cool seeing Rose go out by herself. Sooo many things went wrong for everyone. Very interesting. Loved the new characters that were introduced. Had to start

as soon as I was finished with this to find out what happened next.

im so hooked up with richelle's work! and my heart bleeds for Rose's and Dimitri's love story.. i really hope that things would turn bright in Spirit Bound. nonetheless, i loved Blood Promise.. once again, Richelle Mead shows her literary prowess! ^_^

This was a hard book to read in the sense that my heart went out to Rose, poor girl just can't catch a break. However it was full of fun little twists and turns. There's never a dull moment in Blood Promise.
