So, at times I felt like the Spokane-crew was verging on Scooby-doo and the gang... However, Richelle Mead is such a talented author that I was still engrossed ;)
Less mean-girl syndrome in this book. More action at the end. More foreshadowing of disasterous things to come.
Did I mention that I love the Eastern European names and focus in the book? I wrote my college entrance essay on how much I wanted to study Russian. I ended up a Computer Science major, but I still dream about learning Russian ...more

Man, I sucked this book down like it was air! I couldn't stop reading, I didn't want to stop reading, I only stopped to sleep and work but I was back at it every chance I got like a starving animal. I'd give it 4 1/2 stars if that was an option.

Frostbite is a fantastic follow-up to Vampire Academy. The second book in a series is usually filled with flaws, but not in Mead's case. Action-packed, and emotionally gut-wrenching, this series is a definite must for YA and Vampire fans.

Frostbite, is a wonderful book! I love Rose's character especially, and also Christian..
