There are already many excellent reviews on this book and I agree with most of them, so I won't bother writing mine. I'll just say that the sex scenes were a bit ouf of my comfort zone but I didn't mind. That's how much I loved Jack and Emma. :)

Run away, run away from this book. Horrible characters, bad writing, weak plot. Feehan needs to hunt down her editor that she had before Dark Celebration and beg them to work with her again, because all her books written after DC have been crap. I heard she changed publishers at that time and got a no editor clause, Hey christine, you did not do yourself any favors with that clause. Bad career move. Reviews for your books are in the toilet. WAKE UP! and save your career.
I just finished reading this, and it is now one of my favorite Feehan books. I am a huge fan of the Alpha male and Jake is that and then some, but I absolutely love Emma. She is more than a match and a mate for Jake.
