The first of Christine Feehan's Carpathian books that I read. I really liked this one, which is why I gave it 5 stars. I also started reading all of the series because of it. Unfortunately, as I read through the other books I lost interest at a certain point because she was using the same old formula. They were all too similar. Not a way for an author to keep their readership. Plus, she used some cringe worthy descriptions over and over again, like "molten lava." ...more
