I was dissappointed with Dark Melody. The premise is good but instead of concentrating on the story line, Feehan got wrapped up in 101 ways to describe a hot guy and his dark mysterious eyes. By page 60 something I actually said outloud - he has dark eyes I get it - move on already!
The repetitive imagery and metaphors overpowered what could have been a tight and tense plot - bulking out the book perhaps but were frustrating to read, which was a shame since the action scenes were mostly well writ ...more
