I really wanted to like this series more but sadly this book was too long winded.
I was a bit frustrated that Julian and Desari where going around the same issue over and over. Desari wanted to be an equal to Julian because she is an ancient. It was annoying that Desari wanted her independence but she never showed that she could protect herself against a vampire attack. Really like this one. It has so many characters in it because of the band. Plenty of action.
