I did fly through this book. And I did want to scream in frustration at one of the characters. Part way through the book it took a left turn and I was shocked by where the end took us. NOt that there was an end. It just stopped and you get to wait for the next book for it to continue. Kinda odd that way.

A book that sweeps me in is always good, and making me feel something, even frustration with a character, is one of the elements I really look for in a strong tale. Unpredictability is also a gol ...more

It is very hard nowadays to create something original and worthy of following through book after book, when it comes to Urban Fantasy. I mean, there are SO MANY Urban Fantasy series out there that for one to shine more than the others it doesn’t only have to be different but also offer such compelling characters and world that you won’t care that it all has been done before.

Okay, the first 3/4 of this book was kind of slow, but I seriously could not put this down until it was finished! Good Lord, I have to wait to find out what happens now!? Ugh. Not. Fair!
