This one was a little too introspective and talky compared to previous books in the series and less action, sometimes taking up only a couple of paragraphs. The plot was fine if a little predictable. The final battle wasn't one of her best, not enough characters almost dying, but it was good. :)

When I finished the book, I was a mess, bawling like a little kid. The ending was so bittersweet and sad: Catcher and Rafferty, Cal and Delilah, Cal's future... For the first time I truly felt how dangerous Cal could become, how twisted he was inside. On the other hand, the best and brightest thing about this book was Robin and his relationship with Ishiah - when Ish's feathers started raining down on Robin, that was the sweetest thing of all...
