This was a change from the types of YA books I typically read. But I didn't know that when I bought it. I expected more of a tie in to fairies or something. Don't get me wrong, there's obviously a lot of magic abound in this book, but it wasn't what I expected.

That's not to say I was disappointed. Because I wasn't. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised. I will admit that more of a background in plays, Shakespeare specifically, might have lead to me enjoying some of the characters other then Berti
