This was the first book of the series that focused primarily on the Sanguinars, and was a little different in that we didn't have to deal with the "accept me of I'm going to die" issue that sometimes causes problems for me in the previous books. While I enjoyed watching Logan get twisted up, it seemed like a lot of the story just went from one battle to another without much "get to know you" time in between for Logan and Hope.
