This one was actually closer to 2 stars, but I bumped it up to 3 because I liked the secondary character's stories and enjoyed the progression of the overall series story arc. I LOVE the world and its problems that the author has created. It is so layered and there are so many things happening. I was compelled to keep reading once Nika was introduced. Need her book NOW.
