If your looking for an adult fantasy this one won't cut it.
I really liked this. A few things tried to drag the rating down, but I am at a solid 4 stars for originality.
Eli Monpress, our thief mastermind, really reminds me of...
He has the same personality. Just not as funny as Zachery Levi.
In the world the author has created everything has a spirit. The wizards can converse and even control the spirits. Hence the magic. Not outright wizardry like other fantasy novels.
