Ok, so to me this series is starting to feel a bit like fanfic. Fanfic that is written by the original author.

The begining of the story helps with the whole issue that the last two books don't line up to the future Nick that we know in the Dark hunter series. It is addressed later in the book as well to explain that this is an alternate reality.

Oh poor Nick! I really do feel for him. Nothing ever goes right for him. I loved this book & am eagerly anticipating the next one because of how this one finished!! There are so many great characters in this that I can't pick one e.g Nick, Acheron, Simi, Kyrian, Bubba etc, etc. The storyline is ace. It kept me totally absorbed from cover to cover. I don't think I will ever tire of Nick & the Dark Hunters *swoon* ...more
