This books gets two stars by being harmless smut, the third star it gets it from being hilarious (not on purpose, granted, but still)
Why is it hilarious? I hear you ask in earnest, imaginary review reader who ended here and still expects standards:
1. It has the necessary use of "chiseled"
2. Wacky world building:
"What four realms?"
"Time, space, earth, and dreams," Talon said.
Amanda let out a deep breath. "Okay, now that is scary. Some of you guys walk through time?"
"And space and dreams."

First book by Sherrilyn Kenyon and it didn't disappoint. I liked both of the main characters, they complimented each other well. Good mix of action, romance, plot, and mythology. Will definitely be reading more.

NIGHT PLEASURES was definitely not my cup of tea. I felt like this was one of those cheesy romantic comedies I enjoy on television so much, except for the fact that it was so cheesy that it read like it was wrote for little kids. There is a possibly that I may have possibly loved this book if it was one of those first paranormal romance books I had read, but it was not and I have read much better.

I was expecting so much more out of this book.
I like Kyrian and Amanda but the plot was so silly and just so very predictable.. I got bored.
