Even though Fantasy Lover was shitty, I'm still intrigued by Kyrian. I was hoping he'd get his own book. Hopefully it won't be as bad as the former.

Ok.... so it wasn't as bad as Fantasy Lover, thank Zeus! I liked it. BUT it wasn't anything spectacular.

I liked the storyline but I felt like it fell flat... along with some of the characters. It just lacks a lot of OOMPF! It could go so much farther and be better but it doesn't. I am interested in some of the other characters and might skip around

It is always refreshing to find a new take on vampirism and who can resist a sexy immortal man?

In this tale our sexy immortal man is a Dark Hunter known as Kyrian of Thrace(who we heard a little bit about Fantasy Lover). Kyrian finds himself trapped with Amanda Devereaux(sister of Selena also in Fantasy Lover), or should I say trapped and handcuffed to Amanda.

That sets off a series of events that will change both of their lives forever.

Kyrian of Thrace. Let's just say that I was never really fond of that Dark- Hunter. But then reading his story, it really got to me. The way he was crucified and how Sherrilyn showed it to her readers through her amazing writing... it was too much to bear.
Kyrian has definitely made it to my favorite list. His story and Amanda is unique and well-written. She is the heroine of the story and save Kyrian from his suffering and got rid of his horrifying past.
Definitely would say that this was a goo

Mild, Predictable & boring PNR for starters.
The characters and story line will soon fade in the big graveyard for 'PARVE' PNR/chick-lit in my mind.
*sigh*
Too bad. i wanted to like it. im a sucker for greek mythology.
But still, i will read the next one, im a glutton for punishment that way.
Maybe i'll be able to understand why she wrote so many books in this series, and why so many likes them. I mean, there have to be something in them. right?!

This book was your typical paranormal-romance book. Nothing that made this book stand out from the other dozens of paranormal books. It was funny at times and some yummy sex scenes, but nothing that is making me run out and buy the next in the series.
