Cassandra has been posting snippets from the book every month. So for those of you that didn't know she was doing that or haven't read them. Here they all are. Comment/speculate away! I own nothing, all these are copyright to Cassandra Clare.
Starting next spring, she'll start posting snippets from Clockwork Prince.

This another book I put off reading. Although I only put this one off becuase I wanted to read Clockwork Angel first to get the full effect of these books. I am a huge TMI fan the first 3 books were amazing and this was no different.

I liked the new characters and the story was interesting, but I was disappointed at the end.
I didn't realize this series was originally a trilogy and then this book came along...I can see it. I'm glad to see more of Clary and Jace and their friends and family.
Likes:
* Simon and Jace snarking at each other is always amusing
* Luke and Joselyn getting married is great, but wedding plans were kind of strange

There are things that I really liked about this book: Simon's development, all the funny parts about Alec and Magnus' travels. And then there were things I didn't like: mainly the fact that Alec and Jace barely interacted at all. These two should be parabatai, closer than brothers, but Jace treats Alec like a passing acquaintance instead of someone with whom his heart should "beat as one in battle." That's why only 3 stars.
