I enjoyed this instalment in the Mortal Instruments trilogy much more than the first. The questions and issues that I had left at the end of City of Bones were mostly addressed. And while I'd still like to see more of Alec, I was glad to see his sexuality wasn't glossed over. All of the relationships were better developed and I found myself caring for the characters. Another great read from Cassandra Claire!! These books have a little of every paranormal aspect in them without overloading you with to much info. And not to mention Jace is to DIE for...lol Loved it and will be reading the next one right away.

i went into this book. thinking oh yeah i'll read this.... only to find i have to struggle to read it.

It was great. Really enjoyed the first book, but I think this was better. Great plot, loads of anx (I like anx in books). Had to pick up and the the third book whenI woke this morning.
