TWILIGHT would was the first book I actually ever read for enjoyment. TWILIGHT is the reason that I am reading today and I will be forever greatful to this book for that. If I hadn't read TWILIGHT I probaly wouldn't be this huge of a book fan and met all my favorite fictional book boyfriends. So no matter what TWILIGHT will always be on of my favorite YA books.

To be honest, I wasn't going to read this book at first. It sat there on the shelf at the library for months, staring at me. I would pick it up, look at it, and then put it back . Finally, I just went "Oh, forget this! I'm just gonna get it." So I took it home and started to read it. The first chapter had me unimpressed.( For those of you who've already read it, you know what I mean. It's kind of... slow) but the farther I got in to it the more I loved it, and couldn't put it down until I was fi To be honest, I wasn't going to read this book at first. So I took it home and started to read it. The first chapter had me unimpressed.( For those of you who've already read it, you know what I mean. It's kind of... slow) but the farther I got in to it the more I loved it, and couldn't put it down until I was finished. I fell in love wih Jacob in this book, even though he was a minor character.

**NOTE: What's written below has almost nothing to do with what I thought of the book.**

The reactions I got out of two of my three sister's was this: My older sister: "OH MY GOD, I can't believe it, that's Twilight?! You're into the freaking fad now! I can't believe you. Everyone at school has read them." ( To be honest, I had never heard of the Twilight books before I picked it up myself at the library. And since I was homeschooled I'd never SEEN anyone reading them either.) My older sister less than two minutes later:"Do you like it? Because if YOU say it's okay, I might consider reading them. You aren't a freak." (*I am always telling my older sister about the books I read, and she usually likes them) My little sister: "Eeeww, you're reading a book about VAMPIRES??" Much to my amusement, both my sisters ended up reading the books and falling in love with them because of me, THANKYOUVERYMUCH. Which is something I will never let them forget. What's even funnier is that at the time my sisters and I talked about it so much to each other that my youngest sister who was 3 years old at the time, could correctly answer any question you asked her about the books. Even my mom read them, which made her even cooler than she was before.

**Looking at it a few years after I read it, I can't believe how big it's gotten! And the reactions it got from everyone it's just crazy. They vary from being obssessed with it, to loathing it. ...more
