I was surprised by how entertained I was by this read. It was considerably better than the first book was, but the ending seemed a little anti-climatic. I don't understand where Brewer is trying to take the plot.
The section when Vlad travels to Siberia, is very well written. I also really liked the new characters introduced. ...more
