Looking back at my rating, I'm very surprised that I gave it a 4. I mostly remember being annoyed at so many things that happened throughout this novel. But, I do like to leave my ratings as I put them as soon as I finish each book because I know that is how invested I was in it. Thinking about it now I would give it a 2/3 stars. 10/11/15

It's funny how people see different things in books... I quite liked this book. I liked the concept behind it and I like the charachter Rhine Ellery. Rhine has been kidnapped and offered as one of three brides to a wealthy young man. His father is of the 1st generation and has spent many years trying to find a cure to the disease that is decimating the generations... Men die at 25, women die at 20.
