It was ok, I guess. If I could give it 1 and 1/2 stars I would. I am not really even tempted to try Tantalize. I didn't hate it - because it had potential. But potential was really all it had. It was interesting to see a character accept the "evil" associated with being a vampire - and I mean real evil - killing and not feeling any remorse about it, all the blood and gore and horrors story vampire stuff. This book brought together two of my favorites - guardian angels and vampires.
Before he knows it's happened Zachary, Miranda's guardian angel, has fallen in love with his charge. Can he save her?
I enjoyed Tantalize, but Eternal was far better, IMHO. It was such a quick read that when it was over I was bummed I'd read so fast. Thankfully, Cynthia Leitich Smith mentions at the end that characters from both books will appear in her next book, Blessed. Unfortunately it's not due out until 2011. ...more
