What Members Thought
This series has solidified my love of the steam punk genre. There is something about these books don't intimidate me like most other steam punks do. I'm not sure what it is that has me hooked but I am.
Finley and the gang are an awesome group of characters. They remind me of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen which I loved. 3.5 stars, if I could. I really like the story line in this series, and I like all the characters as well. My biggest problem with this book was the pseudo-swearing: arse, shite, heck, dang. I know this is YA, but either say it outright, or use another, similar, word.
There was something awry with the Kindle edition of this book; the margins were funky, and it was was like a gnat buzzing around my head for the duration of the book. LOL - that's one of those "first world" problems, I suppose. ...more
