I think this series is WAY under appreciated! Yes, it may start slow and buying into the "Grey" bit isn't automatic, but by the time I got to the end of the books written so far, I was really liking the characters and the story. I like that there is a story, not just a series of sexcapades yet there is still an interesting (and NOT formulaic) romance. Ignore some of the reviews on Amazon and give this one a chance.

I really enjoyed the twisty maze idea behind this book, and the character background fill-ins.
Underground is still my personal favorite- and it's already been reread, in between. :)
Oddly enough, I find her boyfriend to be a more interesting character, and I hope there will be more depth to him in the future. ...more

It's a good read but so hard to get into and concentrate on. Maybe too much description of everything. Sometimes that takes away from what is going on especially in a genre that needs action.
