Great book. I wasn't sure what to expect going in, but I really enjoyed the story.
What I enjoyed:
* Beatrice. Her life is changed when she saves a kid and ends up joining the FREAKS squad. Now she is the newbie and on an investigation that quickly gets out of hand and she holds her own.
* The squad. They have very different personalities and powers and are all really interesting characters.

Really enjoyed this one. Loved the quirky characters. Felt it was too short though, a bit more development would have been enjoyable. Still was left wanting to read the next in the series so maybe that was the idea. Maybe I just read it too fast but I was disappointed it read as quickly as it did. Looking forward to the next
