Some interesting elements...and some very irritating ones.

The mystery itself includes varied suspects and motives--enough to keep you guessing--but the suddenly so obvious reveal should've been guessed by Maggie. Still, I can't fault this aspect of the story too much since the who dunnit puzzled me for most of the book.

Of the characters, Felicity is the most charming. I enjoyed the descriptions of the townspeople, as well as Maggie's family and friends. Grandpa is a hoot. The N.I.G.H.T.S. are a ...more

I wanted to like this book. It's been sitting on my shelves for ages. It's a paranormal mystery with a little romance mixed in. Well, the little romance turned into a whole lot of nothing. I hope the author doesn't drag that out with the two characters.
The mystery part of the book turned out to be interesting. I wasn't sure who the murderer was until the end. And the reason why was somewhat interesting.
I ordered the next book to see if this first book was just set up for the rest of the series. ...more

it has self discovery, murder,mystery....

Maggie, is a character i can relate to. as a nearly 30 person myslef. i must be reading these at the right tme of my life. lol ...more
