This is the fourth book in the Sabina Kane series. I loved the first three books in this series and the fourth installment has definately lived up to my expectations.
Sabina is a half vampire and half mage woman who live with her mage boyfriend Adam and her minion, the mischeif demon, Giguhl. They are preparing for a treaty between the dark races which will bring about peace but when murders start to happen things go from bad to worse.

Silver-Tongued Devil was brilliant. I expected great things from Jaye Wells, but truth is that Green-Eyed Demon left me wondering where she could go with the series. Everything had ended so happily that I couldn't really work out why Wells needed two more books.
The reason? Because there is no such thing as a happy ending, not even in fiction! In real life, people don't just go from being a ruthless assassin for 50 years to being a warm-hearted softie overnight. And in real life, love and friends ...more

For me this one was slow paced, but still good.
Sabina is trying to settle into a quiet and calm life when a couple of murders happen and she is assigned to help find the killer.
The storyline kind of fizzles out and she is then focused on helping her sister heal.
It was nice to see some of the people she met in the last book meet up with her again in this book as well.
The latter part of the book does pick up so that's a bonus.
The only reason I give this 3 stars is because it just wasn't as actio ...more

I really like this series, the last book wasn't as good as the first two and I was a little apprehensive about readig this one but I'm glad I did. I found it a little slow in the beginning but it picked up and by the end it was back to the standard I expect.
I thought it was going to be a 4★ book but the ending took it to 4.5★
I loved the twists at the end, it'll be sad to see Sabina end with the next book but I'm excited to see what Jaye gives us next! ...more
