What to say about this final chapter in the Jaz Parks series. Even more final than most as Jennifer has left us.
It was sad knowing this was the last one and it is also probably the best one. All the gang is heavily involved, Bergman grows in confidence and ability, Cassandra and Dave are an item, Raoul shows more of his humanity and sticks around for most of the book, Cole is back from the brink and is shown his surprise Chosen, he just has to wait 23 years.

It's the final adventure for Jaz Parks in this 8th installment of the series, published posthumously after the untimely death of the author last year. It's an ending to a series (and a life), finished too soon.
I don't want to spoil the satisfying end to the series so I am choosing to be a bit vague in this review, I would expect that you would want to savour the finale for yourself.

I really enjoyed this book, especially since it managed to wrap up all the loose plot points from all the books before it. I love this series, and I think it's a real shame we won't be able to read anything further from Jennifer Rardin.

This series has been a favourite of mine. I like the slight psychotic nature of the lead character Jaz...and this seems to be the end of her story. All characters have gotten a happy ending and everything is all neatly tied up. However, I have only one complaint, I felt for someone so psychotic like Jaz and a natural killer like Vayl, maybe a simple happy ending wouldnt have done.
