Almost no romance in this book. Quinn showed up towards the end more or less, and he wasn't much in the book even from that point on.
In this one, once again, there were two cases but they actually turned out to be related.
Nothing else I have to say about the book... maybe I'm getting a little bored from it, but I'll finish the series anyways since I have compulsion to find out what happened later.. ...more

Riley is trying to recover from her broken heart courtesy of Kellen leaving her cause he couldn't cope with the Guardian thing. So she's been lonely except for the full moon.
Jack calls her in for a dead non-human politician and she keeps finding bodies belonging to the Toorak Trollopes ie snooty Cougar types, and their dates. Strangely the kills smell like cat shifter and they find claw marks.
