I've had this book on my TBR since January of last year and now I'm wondering why it took me so long to read it! I was expecting to get a lot of introductions and have to sort through a lot of world building before I got to the good stuff. But, YAY, I enjoyed this story right from the start and it kept my interest throughout. Possibly a 4 star, but just because It was totally original (unlike so much out there at the moment) I had to bump I to a 5.

This book is so good, I wish I could read it again for the first time.
These days it's hard to find something fresh and new in the paranormal/urban fantasy genre. Rachel Vincent's world of Blood Bound is nothing I've ever read.
