Funny, great characters, action, romance, funny. The first part of this book is about Dez (human) who is a detective and Mace (lion). Plenty of laughs. They used to be classmates until she moved, now they've bounced back into each other & now they're adults. Dez is investigating a murder that happened at the pride's place and one of the suspects is Missy (Mace's sister), who was very mean to Dez in school.
