I had been waiting for Mitch and Sissy’s story ever since they met in The Mane Event. I could just see the sparks there and even if it took them forever to realize, they are truly meant for each other, in a very hot and sometimes disturbing way.

Sissy Mae Smith, Mitchell “Mitch” Shaw
I went in thinking I was not going to like Sissy Mae's story because I didn't like her in the previous book, which was her brother's story. She was a royal bitch to his mate in the past and in the present.
I was wrong. I found myself laughing and enjoying the banter between her and Mitch. Heck between most of the characters in this book.
